CMQ turns one!!

Whip out that glitter streamer, blow up those balloons, and bake that cake because Color Me Quirky is officially 1!!!

For those of you who have only recently stubbled onto this blog, I actually started it on January 1st, 2013 as a new years resolution to myself. Originally this was more of an outlet for me to keep track of different resolutions, goals and accomplishments throughout the year. But, as you can probably tell, it quickly became a place for me to display and discuss different aspects of interior design that I- a young interior designer in New York City- found interesting.

Now here we are, a year later! Crazy exciting! And to celebrate I wanted to highlight some of the most popular post from the past year.

There was one of the first posts that gave a glimpse into the decor & design of my personal apartment, in apartment pieces. living room shelving.
A much needed clarification about my real love for office design, in office design clarification
My first DIY Diary post, in diy diary: a beautiful mess playing cards
The colorful post to inspire all those college students with some fun & fresh ways to style their dorm rooms in dorm room days
And finally, the most popular post on CMQ so far (that was also featured on West Elm's blog Front & Maintrending: gold flatware

As the day comes to a close, I just wanted to thank all of my AMAZING readers for loyally viewing color me quirky this past year; and I promise, 2014 will be filled with new interior design inspirations, DIYs, trends and so much more.

Thanks all so much!
