I just wanted to take a moment and apologize for my recent hiatus. Usually I get a chance- either between drawings at work, or while munching on my dinner at night- to compose all my blog entrees. However, I am really excited to report, that for the next few weeks I will actually be on site helping to install our newest creation over in Bermuda.

Ever since I started my career in the real world, I have been working on this project. So now, a year later, getting to see the whole thing come to fruition beyond exciting! I can't wait to share with you all more final photos, but for now at least you can see my view from the office for the next few weeks.

I am a HUGE fan of a well executed leopard print in pretty much all areas of my life, and interior decor is no exception. This ferocious twist on patterns and prints can be brought to just about every aspect of your space. And although I agree with the amazing miss Jenna Lyons- ... leopard is a neutral- there still is that fine line between being chic & fabulous and just plain over-doing it. So when decorating with these faux furry friends, remember to be cautious to not turn your space into a tacky jungle. Happy decorating!

Alright I usually don't post twice in one day (don't worry, the ferocious decor will be back up tomorrow) but I couldn't get through today and not show some purple support for GLAAD on their official spirit day. For those of you who aren't aware, the organization GLAAD is asking for your support today to stand up against bullying. By simply wearing purple you will join the millions who are standing up to stop bullying across the nation. So in the spirit of Spirit Day I wanted to show my support by sharing some inspirational purple interiors and pieces.

I know that this completely goes against my interior designer ways; however I must admit that I hung these west elm picture ledges legit MONTHS ago yet are just getting around to decorating them now. I know I know, how can I possibly survive sitting in my living room staring at an incomplete project for so long? And to be honest, I don’t really know but somehow I lived. There was a month there where I thought I wanted to move out so I didn’t want to put in the effort to decorate. And I do go home to Philadelphia a lot on weekends. But whatever the reason I am completing the project now, so be proud.
